Yep, pretty sure that road to hell is paved with my airgun project intentions. Several YEARS ago, I had the intention of making grips from actual wood for my old Hammerli Master CO2 pistol. Well, you all know what happened...
Anyway, I finally felt inspired. Here's a teaser from step one.
I'm sorely tempted to just skip to the end right now and show off the final results, but I did take a ton of pics. I think I need to figure out how to write this one up first. After all the various grip posts over the years, not really sure if anyone cares about the step-by-step. Gimme a couple days to mull it over. Maybe leave a comment if you're interested in seeing behind the scenes? I'll have something up by the end of the weekend--even if it's just the finished product.
Thanks for checking in.

It is always interesting to see other peoples ideas and method of making anything. I have looked at your other grip making blogs. Go ahead and show us this one.
I'm "Another Airgun Blog" Junkie, check in daily usually. I'd love to see a step by step as I've a couple of grip projects I'm contemplating myself and can always use some inspiration. :-)
I spent a couple of weeks going through all posts from the beginning to date. You have a few series on grip construction, but another one would not be a mistake. I for one would be most interested to see the step by step procedure for the Hammerli grips. I need the inspiration.
