Manu-Arm Air Pistol Disassembly, Part 1

A while back a request was made to take apart my Manu-Arm air pistol. Finally got to it.

Pistol and drawing.

Drawing.

Instructions.

.06011103

It’s not a bad looking pistol, for all the potmetal and plastic.

06011104

One screw through the grip.

06011105

And two screws on either side into the action.

06011106

The housing comes apart typically.

06011107

Notice the trigger adjustment screw.

06011108

There’s a dowel pin loosely in that grip hole to align the grips.

06011109

The action removed.

06011110

A view of the action…

06011111

And another of the trigger…

06011112

Break the barrel to relieve tension.

06011113

Remove the pivot screw. Notice the steel washers on the pivot bearing.

06011114

I punched out the cocking linkage pin. I was very cautious when knocking out pins as most of the parts are potmetal and could break.

06011115

Barrel removed. More to come…

  1. Hello,

I have this same pistol and the sight broke.
It would be part 40 in the exploded view (the actual sight that attaches to the sight screw). It is broken in half.
Any idea where I could order it from? I tried to contact manu arms but they are no longer in business.

    Thank you

  2. Either try and find a parts gun on Gunbroker, etc. or adapt a sigt from another gun. It wouldn't be that hard to make one if you have a drill press and some files.

Does anyone repair them? I have a brand new Manu white in hard case inheritance that will not shoot, can pull barrel but won't activate something wrong with air pressure chamber? Thank you

  7. I have a .22 version of this gun. Hardly used and in 1st class condition with all parts intact. I've had to fully stripped the gun to try and find an internal problem. Discovered the piston body has snapped into 2 pieces. ( part No 30 in the above drawing) Anyone have a spare/new piston body for sale or maybe a breaker gun. Thanks.

  8. How do I fix if the pistol is not firing when loaded? It makes a noise but the chamber pin is not firing the pellet
