This ends up being at least 3/8” smaller in diameter. Maybe more. This method is more work as it necessitates machining the buffer tube. The big pay off for the kids is this version shortens the LOP by that additional inch + of cut away threads. <br /><br />The sight is a low dollar Tasco. Model #BKRD3022. If it had an auto shut off after half an hour, it’d be the perfect sight for kids.
