If it assembles, but the spring is too long, the sear won't catch/hold the piston when you cock the rifle. The springs cut pretty easily with a Dremel-type tool with a cut-off wheel if you don't have a chop saw.derrick38https://www.blogger.com/profile/07453249070532046877noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2378835029459742413.post-997234249733171252019-08-15T04:31:31.451-07:002019-08-15T04:31:31.451-07:00Do you know the number of voils for a Haenel 303 m...Do you know the number of voils for a Haenel 303 mainspring?Stefano Rizzohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05840285876734686605noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2378835029459742413.post-34827341836562098152019-08-15T04:30:24.963-07:002019-08-15T04:30:24.963-07:00T.W.Chambers sold me a mainspring for Haenel 303 w...T.W.Chambers sold me a mainspring for Haenel 303 with 32 coils. On the site they state that the spring should be shortened (by them) before dispatching. But now they say the spring should be alright. I suspect it's too long. You post a picture if aspiring with 28 coils. Thank you.Stefano Rizzohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05840285876734686605noreply@blogger.com
